Collins Lake is a popular Northern California destination for a few reasons, namely big bass, trophy trout and the giant ice cream cones! Nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas in Oregon House, the lake is stocked with over 50,000 rainbow trout every spring and fall, in addition to naturally propagating brown trout, small and largemouth bass, catfish, crappie, redear, and other panfish. The family owned campground is open year-round and offers RV hookups and tent camping. Visitors can practically fish right out of the lakefront campsites! Cabin, boat and RV rentals are also available.
