Yuba Sutter Camping: Explore. Relax. Eat S’mores!
by Emily Lee
The weather is warm. The nights are cool. Camping season is officially here!
Yuba Sutter features some of the best camp spots in the Sacramento Valley! With our beautiful lakes, pristine rivers and dense forests, it’s no wonder Yuba and Sutter Counties are a popular getaway for any happy camper. Whether you’re looking for a unique tent spot along the lakeshore or perhaps a more traditional campground to park your RV, you’ll find it in Yuba Sutter.
But it’s tough to know where to camp if you’ve never been here before. It’s a lot different then just booking a hotel. As avid campers ourselves, we get it: Will the camp spots be long enough for your trailer? Are there hookups? Will the spots be too close to each other? What amenities are available for campers? Is there a store nearby? Are boats allowed on the water? Is a reservation required?
Every camper is different! And choosing the right campground for you and your family is important. That’s why we’ve compiled a list of some of our favorite Yuba Sutter campgrounds, along with the website for each location and contact information.
Happy camping!
