Embrace the Outdoors at Lake Francis
Outdoor activities are a must during the summer months, the Yuba-Sutter region has a plethora of options and Lake Francis is one of the best! You can go for the day or you can book a weekend on site. There are many different options for tent camping as well as sites with hookups for your RV. Would you prefer to stay in one of their cabins? They have 10 different layouts from small to large so you can find the perfect fit for your family. Depending on the cabin you choose, some have kitchens, air conditioners, full bathrooms, and some even allow pets so you can bring your furry friends along!
To make sure your stay is full of fun memories Lake Francis offers activities on and off the water. You can rent kayaks, paddle boards, or canoes for your day on the water. There are also places to swim if you want to take a dip. If you prefer to spend your trip on land there is plenty to keep you occupied such as horseshoe pits, a basketball court, and volleyball nets. Step Back in Time at an Arcade
Relive your cherished memories of arcades with your kids at the Back in Time Arcade in Marysville! Open 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM every Saturday; this nostalgic arcade is a great spot to show your kids the arcade games you grew up on. There is a $10 fee to enter, but after that, most of the games inside are free to play! Challenge your kids to pinball, Galaga, Pac-Man, and so many more. They also offer opportunities to rent the space out for your next event. The Back in Time Arcade will provide you and your family with a fun evening on your next trip to the Yuba-Sutter region!

Mark your calendars for fun-filled days for the whole family happening at the Yuba-Sutter Fair! Are you craving some iconic fair tastes like funnel cake or fresh squeezed lemonade? What about the thrill of fair rides? The Yuba-Sutter Fair has all of that and more! That coupled with the adorable farm animals from rabbits and chickens to cows and sheep, fantastic vendors, and live music make this an event you will not want to miss. The Fair will be in the area from June 22nd to 25th, so don’t miss out and plan your trip to the Yuba-Sutter region now!

Feel the Excitement at the Marysville Raceway
Get ready for race days at the Marysville Raceway! The summer season kicks off on June 3rd and runs through the end of August. There will be events throughout the summer here, and it may be the perfect thing for your family to do on your next trip to the area. Kids under 5 have free admission and they also offer season passes and family passes which would include two adults and either two juniors or three children under 11. This dirt track is sure to offer a memorable experience for your whole family! If you are a fan of a specific type of car make sure to look ahead of time to see what type of races they will be having. Some of the cars include 360 Winged Sprints, Crate Sprints, and Hobby Stocks. Are you looking for a unique and exciting activity for your older kids? Axe Me Axe Throwing is a great experience for you and your family! With 14 lanes and 5,600 square feet of space, this place is sure to bring the family together. They also have trivia nights every Thursday! Be sure to remember that the minimum age for throwing is 12 with parental permission.
