The Toyota Amphitheater is gearing up for its summer concert series, and they aren’t the only place to go for an entertaining show! There are a multitude of options to keep you and your family entertained this summer in the Yuba-Sutter region. The Toyota Amphitheater will be hosting world-class acts such as Nickelback, Post Malone, and more. While Hard Rock Live hosts live music, comedians, and other acts that will offer a show to remember. If you would prefer something on a smaller scale, there are also local shows that you could go to as well!
Nickelback
The first show coming to the Toyota Amphitheater this year is on July 8th. Nickelback, the legendary rock band, will be in town! Foreigner
Foreigner is going to be at the Toyota Amphitheater on their Historic Farewell Tour. This iconic rock band, originally formed in the late 70s, had some of the biggest hits of the 80s. Hard Rock Live
The Toyota Amphitheater is not the only place to enjoy a show in the Yuba-Sutter area, the Hard Rock Live also offers a variety of entertainment options. Not only do they have live music, but also other types of shows! They host comedians, along with other types of acts like Matt Fraser, who is a psychic medium, on the 23rd of this month. Even if live music isn’t your thing, there are so many options for entertainment in the area!
Local Shows
Would you prefer to do something more local? The Acting Company offers plays with local actors that are sure to prove entertaining. They are currently running a show called Daisy’s Dilemma, an original show by Curt Schroeder, The Acting Company’s own playwright! They will also be performing Chitty Chitty Bang Bang from August 11th to September 17th. This fun-filled musical is a great option for the whole family to enjoy! Another local organization that offers amazing entertainment is the Sutter Theater Center for the Arts. This theater on Plumas Street will be offering improv nights, poetry readings, and a production of Seussical this summer! Where to Stay
Do you need a place to stay while you are in the Yuba-Sutter region for the concert of your choice? The Holiday Inn in Yuba City just opened its doors! They offer a pool, fitness center, and much more, so you can be comfortable during your stay in the area! The hotel is also within walking distance of Plumas Street in Downtown Yuba City. You can walk to breakfast at one of the many restaurants in the area. Linda’s is a diner-style restaurant that offers delicious classic breakfast items, Justin’s Kitchen has a brunch menu every Sunday from 10 AM to 2 PM, and City Cafe offers unique brunch items on the weekends, such as their Mini Quiche Fights and Avocado Benedict. There are also tons of local shops on Plumas Street where you can find home decorations, clothing, or a sweet treat.
